Who I am
I'm Dania Phillips, a freelance web designer and brand strategist based in Ontario, Canada. I operate this website at daniaphillips.ca. You can reach me at talktome@daniaphillips.ca.
Information I collect
I collect information in two ways: directly when you fill out a form, and automatically through analytics.
Forms. When you submit a contact form or client questionnaire, I collect the information you voluntarily provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, organization name, website, and details about your project, goals, and budget.
Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time on site, general geographic location (city/region level), device type, and referring source. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site. It is not used to identify you personally.
Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to distinguish returning visitors and track sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.
How I use your information
Information you submit through a form is used solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Understand your project needs and prepare a proposal or scope of work
- Communicate with you about a potential or active working relationship
Analytics data is used to understand site traffic patterns and improve the website experience. I will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or as described in this policy.
Third-party services
This site uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

Cookies
This site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to track sessions and distinguish returning visitors. No other cookies are set by this website. You can disable or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site function.
Email communication
When you submit a form, your information is sent to me via email. I store this in my inbox for as long as necessary to manage our professional relationship. I do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct inaccurate information, or ask me to delete your information where I am not legally required to retain it. To make any of these requests, contact me at talktome@daniaphillips.ca and I'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Data storage and security
Form submissions are transmitted securely over HTTPS. I take reasonable steps to protect the information in my care, though no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. This website is hosted in Canada. Google Analytics data is processed and stored on Google's servers, which may be located outside Canada.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
